 Rumours Luxury Villas & Spa is situated over two absolute beachfront locations in the Muri Beach area of Rarotonga which also has the small outer islands very close by.   It is an ideal destination for a honeymoon or luxury south pacific vacation.  This is on the Southern side of the island, which is protected largely from tropical cyclones and which has spectacular sunrises, rising moon over the water, and the afterglow of spectacular sunsets.  All the Rumours villas are far enough away from the larger resorts in the Muri Beach area to allow you to mostly have a very private beach to enjoy.  Apart from the occasional people out for a lengthier beach stroll – you will see very few people from your beachfront villa deck, so it really is a luxury retreat to privacy and peaceful surroundings - if you are on honeymoon or just wanting a complete vacation from stress ! 

Your VIP transfer in and out of the airport to/from your south pacific destination of Rumours will take approximately 15 minutes, and our driver will be happy to answer any questions you may have during the drive to help you become better acquainted with our beautiful island surrounds.  As you leave the airport and head towards Rumours Luxury Villas & Spa, you will pass through the township of Avarua and everything you will need to purchase during your stay can be found in this area.  Avarua has two supermarkets, a good range of gift and souvenir shops including a great range of places to buy the famous Cook Island Manihiki black pearls and café’s to enjoy when you have had your fill of shopping.
