Dress Code
Although the dress code is informal in Rarotonga, we do ask that when you are away from your beach bungalow visting towns or villages, you do not wear brief attire. Nude or topless sunbathing will cause offence and is best avoided both outside of your bungalow and on the beach. A light sweater may come in handy for the cooler evenings during July and August.
During the day it is also appropriate to wear the pareu, a brightly coloured piece of material worn as a wrap around by both men and women. Similar materials are available in skirts, dresses and aloha shirts. Smart casual clothing is the norm when eating out.
